Recollect
"Aingeal!!" Her screams echoed round her. Repeatedly she called out to him. Terror was in her eyes and like a frantic animal she darted round the limits of her pool - trapped by nature's laws,"Aingeal!!"
Then finally she felt the winds grow round her...finally she heard the thunder of his wings and finally he appeared before the tense image of Lile.
"What is wrong? I was at the Halls when i heard your call....I came as fast as the wind could carry me."
"I had a vision. He is awake once more. Cathal is awake!" Her voice became more urgent and she left no time for him o reply,"You must protect Aideen. She has the vision and as such is as the deer in the lion's path. Do not let her be sacrificed to this evil...not like your sister was."
Saying naught he spread his wings and took to the skies, his very body trembleing with immediacy. And all the Lile could do was send pleas to the other immortals, pleas from her heart that the good would be safe, safe from the evil that was Cathal.

"What is this that you say?" Aideen stood perplexed and Myrna struggled to maintain composure.
"I visited the Oracle. That was her message. It is my will that you continue our lineage not Helena for any offspring of hers will be filled full of the essence of the harlot - such is nature's will. But you Aideen, you hold within your bossom the perfection of centuries. You are the culimination of countless rites of passages..secret rites from mother to daughter not the way of the man...Aideen, you have descended from the most powerful clan of all time and it is you that must continue the line."
"I understan not a word you speak. What rite of passage? And to continue the line...we need a man...forgive my naivete but that is what it seems. And my beloved Aidan is probably out there rolling in the leaves with my precious sister! So in your wisdom, kindly make clear all this nonsense!"
"Have you lost you bearing?" Myrna was interrupted by the sudden blanket of darkness that fell over the landscape. They both look out the window and saw naught but a thick layer of black mist as it were, moving stealthily towards the halls. Through the window came this blackness and with it a stench of the cremation ground hovered. It was like heavy smoke falling over the window's ledge and into the Hall...it gathered together and shot upward violently. With the sound of thunder he appeared.
He was tall. His black hair fell thick and beautiful to his shoulders. His dark eyes were shaded by chisled eyebrows and his smooth, moist, red lips moved as he spoke. "Where is the need for a mere mortal, when an immortal will fill your womb?"
Sensing evil, Myrna began the armour chant when he threw forth his hand. A massive bolt of energy struck the woman senseless upon the cold floor. Aideen shook, but as as she looked into the depths of his eyes she saw a strange beauty. An ominous beauty of the man before her. What was it about his white skin unblemished that drew her near? She felt his power...his hypnosis...and felt weak.
He moved to her as she stood transfixed by the spell cast by his beauty and magic. Transforming once more into the mass of black mist he went round her...merging as it were with her very being. Her breathing grew shallow, almost random. Her breastes heaved...and as she sunk into a subliminal state the mighty Aingeal flew in...the gusts of wind that accompanied him dispelled the black mist and the hollow wails of Cathal were heard echoing in the hall...
Myrna stirred back to consciousness and saw a limp Aideen resting now in the powerfull arms of the Immortal Wind.
She moved over to the pair and stroked Aideen's head with motherly softness as she too returned to reality. Myrna's lips trembled and she knew that the time had come for Aideen to know of her ancestry and her position of absolute power that was being threatend. Sensing the need for security and utter privacy, Aingeal whisked them away to a sacred grove. Their Myrna rested her weariness upon the soft grasses and Aideen her head nestled in her lap. Anigeal reclined against a massive tree and his eagles kept watchfull eyes round them in the sky. Dawn was fast approaching but by the power of her spells Myrna held the sun still and the twilight continued...it had become necssary for this eerie freezing of time for it held all creatures save those under the graces of the immortals, embalmed in sleep silent.
The recollection began, the secrets shared.

Elsewhere, their energies spent in lovemaking, Aidan and Helena lay, their sweating bodies tangled in their nudity. Her mind's eye became aware of mystical happenings in the wood and a sense of urgency descended onto her; but Aidan was not satiated. He rose once more and held her firmly in his hard embrace. His piercing eyes penetrated hers; then locked were they in the fulfillment of lust.

In the depth of the mountains above the rumbled a laughter and Cathal slithered in his rocky abode....
