Am discovering that I will be a sucker for all things in the baby-market...tiny clothes from Mexx and GAP - o god so incredibly cute!!

Christmas eve was far from uneventful - with uncle splitting open hand and being rushed off to ER with daughter-in-law-to-be and myself at 1 a.m. christmas morning - staying there till 8 a.m. - presents at 3 p.m. - and gargoyles till 9 p.m. - then home at 10ish and sweet sweet sleep.

Worked boxing day, shopped the day after, family-ed the next and am at work as I type.

The moon is waning, moods are wildly fluctuating - came in on top of the world now am in a rather odd state. Would like to go see brokeback mountain tonight - but I fear ending up in a pool of tears by the end - who knows, it may be the catharsis much needed.

Or there is the option of a bottle of white wine and some soul stirring ragas - god to be more cliched!

So the exams are over and all's well. I've survived!

Dad is visiting for a few weeks - saw my niece again yesterday - is still V tiny...being all of 7 weeks old after all.Christmas shopping a joy - think I'm going to be evil uncle/cousin Chris who buys everyone books for presents - better than coal I say!!

Parking was interesting last thursday - met with one clingy guy from work and another 'straight' guy from work - lets call him Z.

So Z is this super cute asian guy with a body to die for and a personality that spells simplicity and beauty. He's such a sweetheart...completely adorable and toatlly fuckable all at the same time.So I've been trying to avoid a crush on this boy - given that he's been with his girl friend for the past year...and I've been lucky in that respect given that the past few failed crushes have somewhat jaded me but on thursday, he came to parking with us.AND danced with me - in a very not completely straight way!

So here I am not falling for him... *whistles innocently* Is anyone falling for this?

And it has snowed...in the dense silence that stretches, there echoes...

The seed of wisdom. The seed of illusion. The seed of desire untapped.
String together with the Queen and make nine.
Her face the full moon.
Lotus petals for eyes, softly tread Her feet 'pon his chest broad and strong.
Fire in this night,
Burnt the corpse, charred the bones.
Howls the jackal amid the serpents slithering.
Red the river, black the night, white Her smile
Of power Her weapons,
Shines the sword through the sky,
Like lightning it strikes.
Swift.
Brilliant.
Beauty.
Bliss.
Its now and I'm bored out of my mind. Passing the minutes till I will away to my den and whatever dreams await me there.

But o, there is the tiny matter of a paper due on Monday with the lovely stats exam on tuesday.... ahh the joy never ends.

Am bidding a cafe adieu to a newly made friend tonight - its almost sinful to be going out to a cafe in this season.

By the way - it snowed! Like a lot! And its all pretty now...and Christmas-y even. Anyway - the familying will begin soon with Dad showing up in Canada on the 19th and all the usual get togethers - will be armed with bottles of Port and fancy cookies for sure :)

Be well all!
