Its been some time...

Since my last blog - yes... mindterm season is here and i just got a new position at work so am treading the near invisible line between work /training/school/exams - gaah of gahness

O well...

In better news - a cute, well....id say hott guy was hired at work and given that im now his Quality Assurance Rep, i may just have to be coaching him a bit - one on one never hurt rite - and shut up A the last one doest entirely count :P

So Saturday night may turn into a fear and loathing night - if all goes well that is - *grin* And Sunday is a 'date' type thing with some random guy - lets see how this social ritual turns out.

All else is utterly sublime - wonderful to find crystalline dreams hanging on my eye-lashes like dewdrops every morning...wonderful to feel the cool Autumn wind bringing the message of Winter...wonderful to anticipate fulfillment -

Smile - i command you! *talk about power tripping!*

Corn Tea.

After a rather interesting visit to an unsual tea house during the summer, ive become sworn to corn tea...was it the atmosphere? the fact that we were trying to set up two of my friends? or that i reminded me of boiled corn....i really can't say.

But it was remarkable - the visit at least. When we walked into the tea house all looked rather typical. Pastel colours, comfy sofas, wooden floors blah blah blah....but then one the attendent led us to the back of the room and through beaded cutains into this other world.
It was dimly lit by hanging paper lanterns. the walls were painted blood red and glowed in the dimness surrounding. Soft reggae (?) music floated through the air. The wooden tables were polished darkly and to one end was set a platform with huge night-blue and emrald green cushions. A chess/checkers board was 'built' in the middle and it was there i proceeded to humbly lose a game of chess - I still maintain that i wanted my friend to look 'good' in the presence of his beloved. ;)

So corn tea happened to be the tea of the day, we had a free sample, i liked it and so i oredered more - that's basically it - but don't be surprised, any lucky one of you who gets the privelege to visit me, when you see that my apartment turned exactly like this opium den type place! :)

Midterms midterms o midterms are comming up! here me sing with joy :(

have a nice one!

*yawn*

Sleep O sleep whiter have you dissappeared? *melodramatically throws hands open and sob*

Yes so im horridly sleep deprived - summer spoilt me - must work back into mindless routines and godot-ian futility...

Unless of course I find that perfect bottle of fruity white wine and that green hill with the ancient oak to my back and the stretching glades to the front - the expanse of a golden sunset and whisps of clouds for dreams.....well guess im just going to have to settle for the wine for now.

Wicca continues to beckon me as it works so incredbily well with Hinduism. The Goddess is wonderful...the whole idea of experiencing the supernatural, the mystical in everything you do.. just walking through the park, listening to leaves, in the strum of the guitar, breath of the flute - She is everwhere.

Its warm, liberal idealogy that is powerfull enough to break the routines and add some meaning

The days go on. May friendships bloom...

So Autumn is travelly delicately in the air as the equinox approaches and out comes the totally groovy light coat! :)

yay! I love wearing coats - they just seem to perfectly compliment my outfits and of course lend some illusion to my otherwise skinny arms... lol

Not much has been happening lately - save from a new list of customers at work which means that it is insanely busy there and some assignments that will merrily fall due soon.

Things are great, the worls is petty and to my fellow superiors a more than artifical nod of the head and less than plastic smile ;)

have a great one!

p.s. i have this prof who thinks that her shiny, florescent green rain boot-type shoes are actually wearable... hmmm... then it all depends does it not?

Skies Travelled

The weekend turned out to be quite interesting after all. We left the older crowd of aunts and uncles to themselves and sped of to another house where we broke open a bottle of 'cyclone'

Now this delicate concoction consits of tequila and rum resulting in a sweetish after taste ideal for shots. ;) Of course we finished the bottle with roughly 6 shots each while intermittently playing a game of poker - the ending of which only vaguely comes to mind given the influences we were under....
Ahh the joys!

O well, tis another week of mental torture - though a prof this morning merrily pointed out that we 'don't die completely'....as long as there is someone who loves you, of if per chance you've done something amazing then you live on in memory - *yawns* somewhat comforting given that my ultimate project is to start selling bottled nitrous oxide......hmmmm wonder if i'll be remembered for that!

Anyway guys...am off to delve in the intricacies of all these little numbers in tables and lines on cartesian planes and the like... have fun!

Labour day weekend!!

So am familying for the most of it as my aunt from Toronto is visiting...thoug today still has the potential to turn into a 'fear and loathing' kinda day.

See, Mistress Barbara, this super koool house/trance dj, is spinning at picnic electronic today so am conspiring to escape family clutches long enough to go inhale some trance beats as the sun sets over Montreal's skyline....then off clubbing tonight with fun cousins.

Promises to be a night of flying indeed ;)

Last night was pretty fun - white wine anda gathering of relatives and others not exactly related to me - which lets my guiltlessly say "O my GOD they were hott!!" These two guys *sigh* quite entertained me for the night...joy joy joy

Anyway, am off to whatever today holds....piercing piercing piercing thoughts haunt... hmmm

And it Begins

So boxers off to another term! Zip-a-dee-doo-daa-dey!

The battering of my tender grasp of sanity begins yet again...though i must thank God for stand-up comedians for profs and gorgeous fellow university dudes for entertainment. Will try to keep some sembalence of focus - must repair damage done to good ole GPA..... *yay*

I'll be indulging in some anthropology of Religion...some abnormal psych...some history and *gasp* wretched, damned to bloody depths of fiery and smelly HELL, stats!! *groan groan groan*

At least the weather is gorgeous and leaves will soon be turning - then i can escape to Keats for a brief moment...or to coffee with some random acquaintence - though i must uncover one of those and soon - this given that my current close acquaintences' ideas of an evening out tend to run into long nights on the city....by the time we have coffee, its dawn and we are usually in a 24 hour Second Cup....mmmmm how i'll so tenderly miss this summer; its just that Fall and Winter seem to beg for warm nights in dim cafes dabbling in philosophy and poetry and other things bohemian, am not too sure that that is entirely his scene.
O well, just gonna have to do it all over again next time.

Meanwhile, im just here..and so is mommy dearest - who is spoiling me incredibly. Apartment rocks, especially since i just got this huge poofy sofa thing thats like a basket to curl up in... yum!

Independence will continue to amaze me soon...planning on piercing something, just not too sure what. Tattoo number four may be around the corner...that too is tentative.
As for lover land - well, entrance will hopefully soon be granted....i mean with my undeniable charm andn delectable charisma, come on. ;)

So take care folks...comment and so on and so forth...updates as they happen.
